Remind, Remember & Relive

congratulations, gramma!

Your first Gramma Cammp© is behind you. It's been a couple of days and now you're rested and ready. It's time to Remember It.

Time flies. Capture it. Save it. REMEMBER IT.

I look back at pictures of my first Gramma Cammp© and my grand girls look SO much younger. I had no idea what I would do with all the PICS I took. But, I finally organized them and did something. That's what this step is about.

I also had a box full of little mementos -- crumpled up newsletters, ticket stubs, playbills, stickers, straws, buttons, painted stones, drawings. I remember walking around the house a couple of days after my first Cammp© and finding little things they'd left behind. I saved it all.

You should, too.

  • Sort through and create an inventory of everything you want to keep to help you Remember It. I'll share how I did mine -- maybe it will work for you.
  • Name all of your digital picture files for easy retrieval. I'll suggest a method.
  • I found slips of paper and napkins and iPhone Notes where I had captured "out of the mouths of babes" quotes and bloopers. I'll suggest a better way for you to do this.
  • I committed (only in my mind) to a date to complete my Remembering Pages. I'll share what I've learned about setting that date in this step.

make time for this

This first step will take you a little while -- sort of like organizing a closet: you have to look at everything you have, touch it all, and then make a decision to keep it or use it or not. But, you should take this first step a couple of weeks after your Cammp© is over.

It's an incentive thing.

Once you have organized your memories in this first step, you'll feel better about Remembering It and inspired to keep moving toward a completion date.

Then you can share it all with anyone who matters to you. Need incentive?  Think Christmas Gift! Am I right?

Gramma, go get your Remembering PICS & MEMENTOS Pages.
