Gramma Cammp© Extras!!
Below are descriptions of Cammp© "accessories" I've used in my Cammps©. I've included instructions for making your own or I have versions of them available pre-made for purchase in the Cammp© Store.
Cammp© Kits

I found these little lunch boxes at a Michael's store and filled them with a notepad for their Cammp© Journal, a pen, pre-addressed Letters Home envelopes, a tin bucket that we used for How Full is Your Bucket exercise that first year, a little flashlight they could use in their Cammp© Corners, sunglasses, and an inexpensive step counter (an ongoing and fun Cammp© activity that first year). I made the t-shirts with instructions I found on the web using crayons, sandpaper and an iron.
Cammp© Activity Boxes

I found seven of these inexpensive containers at Target and labeled them for each day of our Cammp©. Our Cammp© tradition is that the activity/field trip for the day remains a surprise until they wake that morning. After Breakfast Talk with Gramma©, they open the activity box and learn what we're going to do or where we're going to go. I love to watch their reactions!
Cammp© Corner
Cammp© Corners
Cammp© Corners are so fun to create as "their" special place at Gramma Cammp© -- to keep all their stuff, to write their letters home or write in their Cammp© Journals. It's also a good retreat space for them when they're not getting along or when they need a break from each other or from Gramma. Yes, that happens. The first year, I just got a blanket and one of those dorm-room shoulder rest pillows (see in this pic) and a box for their stuff. The second year, I found an idea on Pinterest using a hoola-hoop, string, and a shower curtain to create their Cammp© Corners. The third year, I was more sophisticated -- found a deal on line for a little Semoo lightweight beach shade tent -- perfect for indoors, too. These little tents are like $20 through Amazon, easy to assemble and I can use them over and over again for Cammp© Corners.
